Robert Segal, MD, FACC, RPVI , is a Board Certified Cardiologist and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). His credentials include board certifications in Nuclear Cardiology by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) and Echocardiography and Stress Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) and he is globally recognized in Vascular Disease, as a Registered Physician for Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Dr. Segal is an attending cardiologist with his primary affiliation at NYU Medical Center and North-Shore Lenox Hill Hospital. His team at Manhattan Cardiology is dedicated to providing impeccable, compassionate care. All patients are provided with highly comprehensive, state of the art screening services and education for long-term health. Prior to 2010, he was a partner for seven years at East Side Medical and Cardiovascular Associates. As one of the top heart specialists, he was awarded the Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctors Award in 2014, 2015 and 2016. He leads an organized, experienced and personable team in heart testing and treatment. Dr. Segal completed his residency and chief residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and his cardiovascular fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in 2000. Dr. Segal has been in private practice since 2002.
