It’s one of those items you grab that gets dinner done, but this week a grocery chain is announcing they’ve had to pull it from shelves.

Publix, with approximately 1,460 locations concentrated in the South, is voluntarily recalling select batches of its Garlic Knot Rolls because the packaging fails to list egg in the allergen statement—a serious risk for anyone with an egg allergy or sensitivity, which ranks among the “big 10.”

Publishing their announcement Monday, the company says their recall covers 12-count Garlic Knot Rolls (GTIN: 29682800000) purchased before March 31, 2026. The company states no other Publix products are affected.

They add that customers who purchased the rolls should throw them away or return them to any Publix location for a full refund. The company says potentially impacted product has already been removed from all store shelves.
