Elisabetta Politi, RD, is a registered dietitian and diabetes educator with over 25 years' experience. She received her Masters in Public Health Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from Milan University, Italy. Nutrition director at the Duke University Diet & Fitness Center since 2002, she became certified as a Duke Integrative health coach in 2017.
Her professional career has been dedicated to the prevention of chronic diseases through diet and weight management. She enjoys teaching nutrition classes and cooking demonstrations and is passionate about food, its culture, and the food habits worth preserving and reviving.
